Patrick Grzanka

Patrick Grzanka earned his Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Maryland in 2010. His interdisciplinary work broadly encompasses the study of intersecting systems of inequality, with a focus on race, gender, and sexuality.

At UT, he teaches courses on the psychology of gender, social justice advocacy, research design in psychology, and introduction to women, gender, and sexuality studies. He is an expert on intersectionality, LGBT issues, gender and feminist theory, and the critical study of race and racism in the contemporary United States.
